Project description
Newcastle Law School has one PhD studentship available for the 2010/11 academic year. The successful applicant will study on our PhD programme and undertake a PhD in a topic of their choosing in the field of property law (broadly interpreted).

Value of the Award and Eligibility
The studentship is open to any graduate who has a First Degree in Law or related subject. Applicants are expected to have a either a very good 2.1 or 1st Class Undergraduate Degree. The studentship covers tuition fees for one year (full time) at the UK/EU home rate and provides a maintenance stipend.

Person Specification
The studentship is open to any graduate who has a First Degree in Law or related subject. Applicants are expected to have achieved either a very good 2.1 or 1st Class Undergraduate Degree. The successful candidate must take up their post by no later than 1st November 2010 and will be expected to undertake some teaching of English property law at undergraduate level within the Law School.
